I'm aware that there are session files stored both in the main directory, as well as the session storage folder (AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data), however I'm not sure what to do with those files.įirefox allows to rename those backup files and replace them with the flawed session, but this doesn't seem to work in this case (respectively not sure what I'm doing wrong). Under “ On startup” select the radio button that says “ Continue where you left off“. Open a new tab and go to chrome://settings. With this enabled, Chrome will reopen all the tabs from your last browsing session every time you open the browser. Continue where you left offĪnother option is to enable “Continue where you left off” in settings. When Chrome restarts after a crash, you will see an option to restore all tabs from the previous session. You also have the option to search for specific websites. You can also open the history page (CTRL + H or CMD + Y on macOS) and open any tab from there. You can also right-click on the Chrome toolbar area outside the row of tabs and choose “Reopen closed tab”. This keyboard shortcut works on all platforms including Windows 10, macOS, (Replace CTRL with CMD) Chromebooks, and Linux. You can do this up to the last nine tabs. Press the the same keyboard combination again to open the tab before that. Press CTRL + SHIFT + T to reopen the last tab that you closed. You can, however, do this quickly using a keyboard shortcut. Click the site that you want to reopen.
